How to cure Plantar Fasciitis in 2 weeks with intensive Physical Therapy sessions and protective footwear

Am terribly sorry that you are suffering the dreaded Plantar Fasciitis (not to be confused with Plantar Warts). Just wanted to share what helped me, as it took me 2 years to figure out this solution, even after intermittent Physical Therapy visits. I had PF (Plantar Fasciitis) for 2 years in one foot and it would just not seem to go away. I believe it was caused by a day when I was on my feet in thin soled shoes on the concrete pavements of NYC for approx 10 hours, after a long period of inactivity (weeks in bed recovering from an operation, not plastic surgery). Did some Physical Therapy over the years however it just didn’t seem to make a difference (one appointment a week here or there). Then, my husband’s work was changing his insurance plan and I suddenly realized I had ‘12 free sessions’ to use within weeks before the changeover, so because of this made an appointment as often as possible for 2 weeks (because it was free) give or take weekends etc. Sometimes consecutive days. Anyway, after suffering for 2 years suddenly and miraculously it was cured, within 2 weeks!!! This was after two years of avoiding exercise and hikes etc as it hurt too much.

Any PT makes a difference but doing it intensely seemed to make all the difference, if you possibly have chance to do it. The ice, ultrasound, heat massage and exercises work magic and are more effective than at home exercises.

One last thing that really also helps it is to wear a pair of slippers around the house or a shoe with slight protective heel (eg crocs would do) from your first footstep out of bed in the morning when it hurts the most. This protects your heels from irritation and gives them the chance they need to recover. Never wear totally flat thin, cheap nasty footwear around on concrete pavements eg plastic flip flops, this would also prevent feet from recovering too. If you notice an activity or footwear that makes it worse, consider this a red flag and a time to stop and rest your feet, find more comfortable footwear, or even take a break from long walks etc til it gets better.

Am sure this will help!! Pray this may work for you too.
