After much research the Newvante desk seemed superior than the Amazon brand she had been recommended (reviewers reported bamboo splinters on her linked item).
The Newvante desk. also on Amazon, is such a great accessory for a home. Fold it flat and store under the bed. Helps you to work around the home in comfort, without cooking your lap from the heat and electromagnetic radiation.
